The guys who were very interested in me always found a way to let me know. Whether it was explicitly stating it, or always making sure to follow up and making the effort to get to know me, I never questioned where I stood. Of course there have been times where there were red flags instead and I ignored them, but I’m getting better about it and learning when to just move on. Someone once told me that I should only put in as much effort into something/someone as it/they deserve. That advice has served me well on many occassions. Well-loved.
